RESTAURANT
HANU' LUI MANUC
When the hustle and bustle of the city becomes overwhelming or when you are simply looking for a place full of elegance, in the heart of Bucharest, where you can escape to another era, we are waiting for you at Hanu' lui Manuc! In a setting reminiscent of the caravanserai of a bygone era, the inn is truly a unique Bucharest restaurant in the landscape of the Capital's establishments. The oldest Inn in Europe is Manuc's.

The Inn's story
The Inn’s story starts in 1806 when it was built on Bucur’s land, on the riverside of Dambovita.
Its architecture, unlike the other inns of that time, stood out through its unicity. The founder was Emanuel Marzayan, better known as Manuc Bey. He was a far-famed merchant, diplomat and innkeeper which was considered as one of the richest landlords in the Balkans.
